AST Bearings is thrilled to announce Steven Sanchez, P.E. has been named a Certified Bearing Specialist by the Bearing Specialist Association (BSA).
Steven is the second AST employee in the company’s Engineering Department to receive the certification, joining Jeff Fergus; Jeff received his BSA certification in 2017.
As the BSA notes on its website, “BSA’s Certified Bearing Specialist (CBS) program is the only bearing industry-specific program that identifies and quantifies the specific skill sets to certify an industry professional as a bearing specialist.” The certification process includes an extensive test and those who get certified must renew every five years.
